THIRD SHIRT TO SUPPORT FOUNDATION
Ipswich Town’s newly launched 26/27 third kit will raise funds to support the Foundation’s work in Ipswich and wider Suffolk.
The shirt, created in collaboration with fan-led art collective Call Me Ted, is available to pre-order now from shop.itfc.co.uk, with £1 from every shirt sold supporting the Foundation’s Beyond Labels provision.
Beyond Labels provides access to opportunities to adults and young people with additional needs and SEN, with sessions designed to raise aspirations, self-confidence and social skills, and to promote positive mental and physical wellbeing.

In 2025, the Foundation engaged with 140 participants through Beyond Labels sessions alone, with the provision – previously named Disability Football – rebranded this Summer following a period of extensive consultation with participants and their families.
Beyond Labels, a name inspired by an exhibition hosted by Suffolk Archives, is designed to empower those with additional needs – both learning and physical – whilst removing the stigma and labels surrounding disability in Suffolk.
The Beyond Labels provision is currently made up of eight, weekly sessions, tailored to support the unique needs and abilities of each participant.
The Adult PAN Football sessions are the Foundation’s longest-running disability session, providing adults of all abilities with access to a safe, welcoming environment to enjoy football, whilst Youth PAN Football and Comets aim to support young people with additional needs in building key social skills alongside regular physical activity.

Frame and Powerchair Football provide more specialised support for those who use a frame or wheelchair for mobility, offering an inclusive space for those participants to access football.
This Summer, three new sessions were added to the flourishing provision. The first of these, CP & Neuromuscular Football, accommodating for people aged 12 and over with Cerebral Palsy and Neuromuscular conditions. Deaf & Hearing Loss Football, another new addition, provides access to football for those with hearing loss, and is open to anyone aged 5 and over.

The most recent addition to the provision is Beyond Labels: You Can, an employability programme co-designed and delivered by Town Women midfielder and Foundation trustee, Colette Cavanagh. The project, made possible by the Premier League and PFA Players’ Fund, provides cohorts of eight participants with the skills, knowledge and confidence to be employment ready, whilst also supporting local businesses in becoming Disability Confident employers.
Last year, the Foundation highlighted Bailey, a participant of the Youth PAN Football session. Through conversation with Bailey’s dad, Kevin, the impact of the sessions is clear.
Bailey struggled to regulate his emotions and integrate with other participants initially, however with support from Foundation staff, Bailey has grown more confident, sociable, and is now able to participate fully in the sessions. Bailey’s story is available to view in full below.

The new shirt’s striking black and gold design utilises the Tudor-style map originally designed by Call Me Ted, which was first used on bespoke warm-up shirts used at the club’s dedicated Foundation Fixture – Town’s 1-1 draw with Millwall earlier this year.

The warm-up shirts were designed to encourage and open up conversations about the Foundation’s work, whilst also serving as a vital fundraising initiative. Through auctions and Crowdfunder campaigns, the limited edition warm-up shirts raised over £15,000 to support the Foundation.
“The collaboration with Call Me Ted raised a significant amount of money around our fixture with Millwall earlier this year and we are excited to be continuing this relationship through the club’s new third shirt,” said Foundation CEO, Dan Palfrey.
“The money raised from sales will go towards our Beyond Labels provision, which provides opportunities to adults and children living with disabilities. This year alone, we have launched a new Deaf and Hearing Loss Football session along with ‘You Can’ – a programme that provides those with additional needs and SEN with the knowledge, skills and confidence to be work-ready.”
