HEALTH & WELLBEING

TALK CLUB
Talk Club is a UK male mental health charity helping men improve their mental fitness. Confidentiality and respect are paramount.
We provide a safe space for men (18+) to share how they’re feeling – built around one simple question: How are you? Out of 10?
Talk Club is a Talking and Listening club, not a therapy group. That’s an important distinction. Our Captains aren’t mental health professionals; they’re trained TC Captains who facilitate and support the group. You can share as little or as much as you like. You won’t be pressured, and you won’t be asked questions about what you share.
Ipswich Town Talk Club is run in partnership between Ipswich Town Foundation and Talk Club. It’s open to all men of all ages in the local community – whether you’re an Ipswich Town fan or not.

MORE INFORMATION
What happens in a session
Every session follows the same four rounds:
- Check in - "How are you? Out of 10?" Each man checks in with his number, and explains why.
- What are the Positives in your life? What are you grateful for?
- What are your plans for mental fitness this week? How will you improve your sleep, diet and exercise?
- Check out - How are you now? Out of 10? What’s your number now you’ve shared?
On average, a Talk Club Talking and Listening session raises a man's mental fitness by over 15%. It's why local pubs to global corporates, and men aged 18 to 80+, are now using Talk Club.
