HEALTH & WELLBEING

STAY IN THE GAME

Stay in the Game is an initiative providing mental health support to fans at Portman Road on matchdays.

Delivered as part of the Premier League Together Against Suicide campaign, supported by Samaritans, Stay in the Game is a pop-up hub located in the Sir Alf Ramsey Stand Car Park, providing in-stadium mental health support to fans on matchdays.

MORE INFORMATION

Together Against Suicide is the Premier League and clubs' initiative, using the power and reach of football to encourage conversations around suicide prevention and help reduce the stigma that can prevent people from seeking support.

The initiative will begin delivery at Town's Premier League fixture against Fulham on Saturday, 10 October, and will provide supporters with opportunities to have confidential conversations about how they are feeling and the support available to them in a safe space with qualified professionals.

Further details will be shared on Stay in the Game and how to access it ahead of the project's official launch next month, with information also available by contacting Head of Community Engagement, Leanne Smith at leanne.smith@itfcfoundation.co.uk.

The Premier League's website includes a dedicated Together Against Suicide area which provides fans with information on how they can help themselves or others who might be having suicidal thoughts. The website offers support and referral information to services in the UK and internationally, helping fans access expert advice and assistance wherever they are. More information can be found at: premierleague.com/togetheragainstsuicide.

Anyone who is struggling to cope, or is worried about someone else, can contact Samaritans free of charge, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, by calling 116 123 or visiting www.samaritans.org.

If you or someone else is experiencing a mental health crisis you can visit NHS 111 Online, or call NHS 111 and select the mental health option for 24-hour urgent advice and support.
