To mark Foundation Fixture and Autism Awareness Month, the Foundation has partnered with local artist David Downes to produce a limited edition print of Portman Road.

Based in Manningtree, David Downes, is an English landscape painter known for his vast skies, beautiful seascapes, and complex architectural drawings.

David has a photographic memory, which he puts down to being autistic. He can recall the places he has visited in brilliant detail and paint them from his recollections.

150 copies of David’s painting will be available to purchase in-store in Planet Blue from Saturday, 4 April, with mounted versions available for £150 and framed versions available on request for £220.

40% of the profits will be donated to the Foundation, and will be included in the final fundraising total from Foundation Fixture – Town’s clash with Wolves on Saturday.

David was invited to Town’s home fixture against Everton earlier in the season, where he sat in the press box to capture the essence of Portman Road, which has been brilliantly reflected in his art.

David will also be present at Foundation Fixture this Saturday to meet Foundation staff and understand the impact his work will have on the local community.

“The money raised from David’s excellent art will go a long way in enabling the Foundation to continue its work in the local community.
