Ipswich Town Foundation is delighted to announce the launch of a charity Padel Tournament, which will take place at Padel Ipswich on Wednesday, 29 April.
Hosted by Club legend and Foundation trustee, Matt Holland, the tournament will see 16 teams take on a full day of padel, as well as breakfast and a two-course meal at Portman Road.
Entry will cost £250 for a team of two people, with booking available below.
Starting at Portman Road at 9.30am, teams will enjoy breakfast at the stadium, before travelling to Padel Ipswich with free transport provided by the Padel Tournament’s travel partner, Simonds.
Teams will battle it out initially in group stages, with four groups of four competing.
The top two from each group will progress in the Shield, whilst the bottom two will move on to compete for the Plate, meaning each team will play a minimum of an 80 minutes of padel across the day.
Following the conclusion of the tournament, the teams will be transported back to Portman Road for the Shield & Plate presentations, and to enjoy a two-course meal in the S&P Lounge.
