Premier League Kicks, funded by the Premier League through the Premier League Charitable Fund, uses the power of football and sport to inspire young people to reach their potential, in some of the most high-need areas in England and Wales.
The programme creates opportunities for young people aged 8-18 who are at risk of anti-social behaviour, youth violence and/or from high-need areas to regularly engage in football, sport, mentoring and personal development opportunities.
Launched in 2006 as a collaboration between the Premier League and the Metropolitan Police to create safer and more inclusive communities, Premier League Kicks has had a significant impact on people and places in the last 17 years.
The Foundation will begin its Premier League Kicks delivery in September, with sessions taking place at Portman Road, Ipswich Academy, Chantry Academy, Westbourne Academy, and Murrayside Community Centre.
All sessions will be football-based, and open to children aged 8-18, with the exception of the session at Murrayside Community Centre which will be boxing-based and open to 12-16 year olds, led in collaboration with Town supporter and current British, Commonwealth, WBA Continental and WBO European Heavyweight champion Fabio Wardley.
The Foundation currently offers Premier League Kicks sessions at the following venues:
