Our Elite Player Development Centres (EPDC) are a regional coaching initiative, offering opportunities in Suffolk, Essex Cambridgeshire and Norfolk.
For the 2023/24 season, we are running centres in Ipswich, Haverhill, Kirkley, Sudbury, Eye, Tiptree, Colchester, Bottisham, Bury St. Edmunds, Beccles, Billericay, Dagenham, Chelmsford, Bishops Stortford and Framingham Earl.
Players for our EPDC are identified by club scouts and invited in to trial at their nearest location and if successful are invited to join the programme.

Our EPDC’s run in two blocks throughout the year:
Block 1 – September to January
Block 2 – February to June
During each block, players receive coaching from FA/UEFA qualified coaches, with the sessions following the Academy schedule of work. All players receive a developmental report at the end of each block, reviewing individual progress and areas for development.

Academy Kit – Players who are members of the EPDC wear Ipswich Town academy kit which can be purchased from the ITFC Shop
All kit is supplied by the clubs Official Kit Partner, Umbro, and is also worn by the First Team.
