Ipswich Town Foundation is delighted to announce that Ipswich Greyfriars Round Table has raised a total of £17,609 to support our work in the Suffolk community.

As Ipswich Round Table’s charity of the year, as announced back in April 2025, Ipswich Town Foundation benefited from a number of fundraising initiatives across 2025, including the long-running Rudolph Runs, which contributed to £15,000 of the overall total.

In addition, Ipswich Round Table raised over £2,000 through their annual Halloween Ball, as well as a Quiz Night that raised over £200.

“As Chairman of Ipswich Greyfriars Round Table, it was important that the money we raised locally stayed in our community and directly benefited local people. That is why we chose to support the Ipswich Town Foundation,” said Lewis Good, Chairman of Ipswich Greyfriars Round Table.

“Throughout the year, we raised funds through our Quiz Night, Halloween Ball, and Rudolph Sleigh collections at Christmas. These events brought together local businesses, families, and volunteers to support an organisation that does fantastic work across Suffolk, helping people of all ages through sport, education, and wellbeing programmes.

“We’re proud to know the money raised will have a visible impact in our area and support the Foundation’s outstanding work in the local community.”

The funds raised will play a pivotal role as the Foundation continues to strive to provide access to opportunities to all generations in Suffolk, supporting three key areas of the Foundation’s delivery.

“We are exceptionally grateful to Lewis, his committee and all the members of Ipswich Greyfriars Round Table for their support of the Foundation this year,” said Sarah Dooley, Head of Business & Operations at Ipswich Town Foundation.

“We extend our thanks to everyone in the local community who donated to support the fundraising efforts which will be utilised to support across three programmes the Foundation deliver. We will be purchasing an additional powerchair to enable further participation in our Powerchair Football session; support the mentoring of young people who have experienced mild-moderate mental health concerns, and the delivery of our Premier League Inspires programme which engages with young people to raise their aspirations as they progress into further education or training.”
