Ipswich Town Foundation is delighted to announce Ipswich Town Heritage Society as the training-wear sponsor of our Girls Performance Squads programme for the 2025/26 season.

The Heritage Society, led by Foundation Trustee Elizabeth Edwards alongside Tim Edwards, has been actively involved in the Foundation’s work across its diverse provision, first being involved with the Girls Performance Squads last season.

As part of the agreement, Ipswich Town Heritage Society will continue its support of the Performance Squads, becoming training-wear sponsor for the 2025/26 season.

Performance Squads provides opportunities to talented female footballers aged 13 to 16, with an U14 and U16 squad taking part in training and fixtures on a weekly basis.

“We have been involved in sponsoring womens’ and girls’ football for many years, and it is great to see the progress that ITFC is making at all age levels,” Elizabeth Edwards commented.

“The U14s and U16s are really well coached, motivated and supported by their parents, and so we are delighted to continue our involvement this season.  As a Heritage Society, we recognise that memories are made at all ages, and these young players are just as much a part of our club as those at first team level.”

“We’re delighted to have the continued support of the Heritage Society for the 2025/26 season,” added Football Development Manager, Eva Hubbard.

“The Performance Squads programme, and the wider Girls Football provision at the Foundation, continues to go from strength to strength, with Liz and Tim a consistent supporter throughout our journey.”
