Foundation partner with St Joseph’s College

Ipswich Town Foundation is delighted to announce a new, long-term partnership with St Joseph’s College.

The partnership will see St Joseph’s College host 40 hours of weekly Foundation provision on campus, with a new state-of-the-art 3G pitch to be installed on the existing AstroTurf pitch.

The Foundation will run a range of sessions at St. Joseph’s College as part of those 40 hours, including weekly girls’ football sessions and training and matches as part of the Post-16 Football & Education programme.

The facility will also host Foundation Soccer Schools and Development Fixtures in school holiday periods.

“We’re absolutely delighted to begin a new long-term partnership with St Joseph’s College,” Director of Foundation Dan Palfrey said. “I would like to thank Anthony O’Riordan and the team at St Joseph’s for their commitment to making this happen.”

“This collaboration marks a significant step forward for the Foundation, enabling us to enhance the experience we offer to our participants across our programmes. We’re excited about the opportunities this partnership will create and we very much look forward to working with St Joseph’s in the future to benefit the local community.”

“This project represents St Joseph’s College’s commitment to excellence in sport, education and community,’” said Mr Anthony O’Riordan, Director of Business Development and Operations at St Joseph’s College.

“We are proud to collaborate with Ipswich Town Foundation to bring these world-class facilities to our students and the broader Ipswich community.”
