Ipswich Town Foundation is hosting a charity Golf Day on Wednesday, 4 September at Hintlesham Golf Club.

The competition will be formed of a maximum of 18 teams, with each team made up of three or four people. Entrants are advised that any teams of three will be assigned an Ipswich Town legend to their team on the day.

Teams can enter for £500.00; a fee which includes bacon roll and tea or coffee on arrival, on course refreshments, and a two course meal once the competition has been completed. All funds raised will go towards the Ipswich Town Foundation’s work across Suffolk and the surrounding areas, supporting the delivery of 29 diverse programmes to over 9,000 young people and vulnerable adults each week.

Participants on the day will play an 18-hole Stableford Competition with a shotgun start at 10:30am, which will be followed by post-golf entertainment in the form of The Kevin Carpenter Trick-Shot Show.

Players will also be able to take part in several challenges across the day, including:

• Yellow ball
• Longest Drive
• Nearest the Pin
• Beat the Pro (additional £10 to enter)
• Putting competition (additional £10 to enter)

Following the competition, meal and entertainment, there will be a raffle and auction, with several exclusive Ipswich Town prizes up for grabs.

The Foundation are seeking a headline sponsor for the event. The sponsorship package will include:

• Entry for 1 team into the Golf Day
• Choice of ITFC legend (if applicable)
• Logo included on marketing materials / emails to participants
• Banner on 1^st Hole (to be supplied by Sponsor)
• Pull up banner in the golf club for the day (to be supplied by Sponsor)
• Tee off on 1^st hole
