Town stars Liam Delap and Axel Tuanzebe joined participants of the Foundation’s Premier League Kicks session at Chantry Academy on Wednesday evening.

The first team pair spent an hour at the free to access football session ahead of Town’s clash with Southampton on Saturday, handing out tickets to some of the participants present.

Liam and Axel took part in question and answer sessions with the groups present, before leading two teams in a crossbar challenge as participants competed against each other to win tickets to Saturday’s game. Town’s top scorer came out on top, as one of the participants hit the crossbar to claim a pair of tickets at the death.

Premier League Kicks, funded by the Premier League through the Premier League Charitable Fund, uses the power of football and sport to inspire young people to reach their potential, in some of the most high-need areas in England and Wales.

The programme creates opportunities for young people aged 8-18 who are at risk of anti-social behaviour, youth violence and/or from high-need areas to regularly engage in football, sport, mentoring and personal development opportunities.
