LT Contractors continue Walking Football sponsorship

Ipswich Town Foundation is delighted to announce LT Contractors have agreed to continue sponsoring our Walking Football programme for the 2024/25 season, having joined as sponsors in the 2023/24 season.

Based in Tunstall, LT Contractors provide a complete building service to clients across East Anglia and offer services across four key areas: design & build, construction, landscaping and kitchens/bathrooms.

The sponsorship sees the LT Contractors logo adorned on the front of the Foundation’s Walking Football teams home kit for a second successive season. The support of LT Contractors has allowed the Foundation to develop a second Walking Football session and provide the opportunity for further matches against local teams including Colchester United, Norwich City and Cambridge United.

“Having witnessed first hand last season what a difference our sponsorship made to so many lives, we didn’t hesitate in taking up the opportunity to be involved for another year,” Luke Taylor, Managing Director of LT Contractors said.

“We are proud to support the Ipswich Town Foundation in all the fantastic work they do within our community. We also became a Gold Friend of the Foundation this season – it’s another superb way of supporting the Foundation with them offering back some excellent benefits.”

Our weekly Walking Football sessions offer a safe, fun and social environment for anyone to participate who may no longer be able to take part in regular football. The sessions take place at Portman Road on a Monday evening and Wednesday morning and are led by qualified Ipswich Town Foundation coaches.
