Runners who took part in the Larking Gowan Ipswich Half Marathon, held by Jane Tomlinson’s Run For All last Sunday, have raised £2,896 for the Ipswich Town Foundation.
Having been named a Charity Partner of the event for the second successive year, runners taking part had the option to fundraise for the Foundation, including a number of Foundation and Club staff.
The event, which started and finished on the practice pitch at Portman Road, brought together the local community for a day of sport, fun, and fundraising, with former Town captain Carlos Edwards present to help start off the race.
A huge thank you and well done to the following staff from the Club and Foundation who took part and fundraised for us:
The Foundation would also like to place its thanks to the members of the public who ran for us, as well as to Larking Gowan and Jane Tomlinson’s Run For All for choosing us as a Charity Partner again this year.
All funds raised will be reinvested back into the community, as the Foundation works towards its aim to build an empowered, inspired, and inclusive community to be proud of.
