Town ‘Keepers visit Foundation Football Festival

Town ‘keepers Christian Walton and Cieran Slicker surprised participants of the Foundation Football Festival at Portman Road earlier this week.

The Foundation Football Festival is a week-long camp for young people aged 5-16, including disability and girls only groups, offering participants qualified coaching from Foundation staff, opportunities to engage with Foundation inflatables, as well as skills sessions, tournaments, as well as being provided with their own t-shirt, football, and bag.

Christian and Cieran spent time with each group, taking part in question and answer sessions, before signing each participant’s Foundation Football Festival t-shirt, provided by Hudson Group.

The visit followed on from a day of community engagement from Town’s U18s, demonstrating the importance of support for the community across the Club,
