End of Season Dinner raises almost £45,000 for Foundation

The auction held at the Club’s annual End of Season Dinner, hosted earlier this week, raised just shy of £45,000 for the Ipswich Town Foundation.

The evening saw Town’s players and staff joined by supporters and local businesses to celebrate a season which saw the Club promoted to the Premier League.

Foundation Powerchair Football participant George Woodward and Senior Blues participants Tony Richardson and Dave Minter were all present on the night, handing over the Philip Hope-Cobbold Award to Harry Clarke and Kyra Robertson in recognition of their exceptional work in the community across the season.

The auction saw a number of exclusive items go under the hammer, including and a guitar signed by global superstar and Town fan Ed Sheeran, which sold for an incredible £18,000.

All funds raised from the event will be reinvested into the community, ensuring the Foundation’s diverse provision can continue to grow and improve, with over 9,000 young people and vulnerable adults engaged on a weekly basis.

The Foundation would like to place on record its thanks to the Club for their ongoing support and for facilitating the auction on the evening, and to those present for contributing both to the auction and to a fantastic evening.
