Last month, students from Holbrook Primary took part in our School Sponsorships initiative, raising over £1,100 for the Foundation.
Our School Sponsorships involve the Foundation providing its inflatable dartboard for children at Primary Schools across Suffolk and surrounding areas, with students competing against their classmates for individual prizes whilst raising money in the process.
The day was a big success, with students given an opportunity to take on the dartboard challenge, as well as meeting Town mascot Crazee.
“I really enjoyed the event, it was so fun to cheer on our friends and practice our football skills,” said Amelia, a Year 6 student at Holbrook.
“I think the amount we raised is so good and I am so please for the Foundation.”
“I liked trying to score the highest number, it was great to see the class compete to get the best score,” add Louis, Year 2.
Last week, the Foundation returned to Holbrook to hand over prizes to those with the highest scores, including items signed by members of Town’s first team squad.
