Gateway 14 sponsor Player Development Centres

Ipswich Town Foundation is delighted to announce Gateway 14 as the sponsor of its Player Development Centres.

Gateway 14, located in Stowmarket, is the largest business, innovation and logistics park in East Anglia, designed to support the growth of businesses and employment, with an emphasis on providing support to wider communities across the Mid Suffolk region.

The Foundation’s Player Development Centres form part of its Community Open Access provision, providing a safe space for young people of all abilities to enjoy the benefits of regular, structured football sessions.

The sessions currently take place in a number of locations across Suffolk and the surrounding areas, with Gateway 14’s sponsorship providing vital funding as the programme continues to evolve.

“The work that the Foundation is doing across East Anglia to engage young people is hugely valuable and we are very pleased to be supporting this project,” Sir Christopher Haworth, Chair of Gateway 14 Ltd has said.

“At Gateway 14, we will shortly be starting work on the construction of the skills and innovation centre, which will link education and business, and this project is all about giving children the right skills to succeed.”

“We’re delighted to announce Gateway 14 as our Player Development Centres sponsor,” added Director of Foundation, Dan Palfrey.

“We’re extremely grateful to Chris and the team for their generosity. These funds will allow us to reach more individuals in the local community.”
