Town host Project 21 at Portman Road

The Club was delighted to welcome the Project 21 group to Portman Road last week.

Project 21 is a charity, operating throughout East Anglia, which provides innovative, exciting experiences and opportunities for people of all ages and abilities with Down’s Syndrome, helping them to exceed expectations and continually push boundaries.

The group, which is led by Founder and Project Manager, Alex Munn, were given an adapted football session, provided by staff from the Ipswich Town Foundation, before having a guided tour of Portman Road, including the dressing rooms and dug outs.

The support for Project 21 is further evidence of the Club and the Foundation’s ongoing support to make football a more accessible environment for everyone, adding to the Foundation’s flourishing disability provision, as well as ongoing efforts to improve the experience for disabled supporters on matchdays at Portman Road.
