Conor Chaplin visits Girls EPDC

Town forward and Foundation Trustee Conor Chaplin visited our Whitton Girls Only Elite Player Development Centre on Thursday night.

The session was the first at our Whitton centre this year, with participants delighted to have Conor with them to start the 2023/24 season.

Conor spent time introducing himself to the participants, before holding a short question and answer session with the two groups present. Conor also took part in training drills with the girls before joining in with small-sided games. At the end of the session, Conor handed out tickets for Ipswich Town Women’s game against Cheltenham Town at the AGL Arena on Sunday.

The Foundation’s Elite Player Development Centres take place at centres across Suffolk, Norfolk, Essex and Cambridgeshire, offering top level coaching and a pathway to the Advanced Training Centre, Girls Elite Training Centre, and the potential for progression into the Women’s Teams.
