Nick Hayes visits Goalkeeper Camp

Town ‘keeper Nick Hayes was at Portman Road yesterday, attending the Foundation’s Goalkeeper Development Camp.

The participants, aged 7-14, took part in a rotation of 1v1, distribution, and multiple shot-stopping drills, before taking each other on in Goalie Wars.

Nick spent time answering questions from the young ‘keepers, watching them in drills and offering encouragement and advice to them throughout. Nick helped the coaches to deliver feedback to the participants, before being asked to name his ‘GK of the Day’, awarding them with a certificate and a medal.
