Nacton C of E Primary host Sponsored Inflatable Challenge

Town midfielder Lee Evans visited Nacton C of E Primary School on Friday morning for their sponsored inflatable challenge, as students raised over £1500.

Students at the school had been sponsored to take on the Foundation’s new inflatable dartboard, provided to the Foundation by funds from Town fan Steve Kirby through Vodafone’s VeryMe rewards, with the money raised being split evenly between the school and the Foundation.

Lee was at the school all morning, encouraging and supporting all the children as they took part in the challenge, even taking on the dartboard himself. The Town star handed out medals out to each of the participants, whilst also taking the time to sign autographs and take pictures with the teaching staff.

The student who achieved the highest score at the end of the challenge was presented with a matchworn and signed shirt, kindly donated by Town’s number 8.

This is the first sponsored school event that the Foundation have been involved in, with the new inflatables and the recently donated Steven Eagell Toyota Proace van allowing the Foundation to take staff and activities to more events like this across the region.

The Foundation would like to place on record their thanks to the students, parents and carers, and teachers at Nacton C of E Primary School for their generosity.
