The Foundation’s Frame Footballers enjoyed a successful afternoon at St George’s Park on Sunday, winning the Frame Football National Shield.
Accompanied by coaches Eoin McNamee and Nicola Allum, the team enjoyed a successful day competing in the 5-8 category. They won all four of their games, scoring 16 goals and conceding 0 in the process.
One of the Foundation’s footballers, Jay, was competing in the 9-12 category with another team who also came out as winners.
The Frame Football National Shield takes place once a year at St George’s Park, the FA’s national football centre.
Our Frame Football sessions are designed to offer children who utilise walking aids like frames or crutches to walk a chance to reap the benefits of playing football. The sessions take place on Sunday mornings from 10:00-11:00 at Suffolk One.
