Ipswich Town Fans Supporting Foodbanks will be hosting their fourth and final foodbank of the season when Town host Exeter on Saturday afternoon.
The Blues’ arm of the fan-led initative was launched in January, with each of their foodbanks being successful so far.
Both Ipswich and Exeter fans are encouraged to donate to show that ‘Hunger Doesn’t Wear Club Colours’
Ahead of the Shrewsbury game in March, Ipswich Town Fans Supporting Foodbanks (ITFSF) collected crates full of food and cash donations of over £500, which has since been delivered to the Club’s charity partner, FIND (Families in Need).
Representatives from ITFSF will be collecting food and cash donations again this weekend across two different locations.
Home supporters will be able to find them in the FanZone while both sets of fans will be able to donate near to the Sir Bobby Robson statue on Portman Road, behind the Cobbold Stand. Fans will also be able to donate at The Greyhound pub in Ipswich, who recently supported the fundraising efforts for Foundation Fixture.
Lists of in demand items and other ‘general asks’ can be found in the image attached.
Fans Supporting Foodbanks is based on the idea that football fans can come together, even if they back different teams, to support the community against poverty.
Nationally, Fans Supporting Foodbanks has raised hundreds of thousands of pounds worth of donations for local causes.
