Carr, O’Connor and Woods visit Boys EPDC Camp at Portman Road

Town under-21s Ryan Carr, Daniel O’Connor and Charlie Woods visited the Foundation’s Boys Elite Player Development Centre (EPDC) Camp at Portman Road last week.

The young trio were introduced to the participants, all attendees of our EPDC centres, who were given the opportunity to ask questions about each of their journeys to the Club, how they got into professional football, their experiences of training with the first team and so on.

Ryan, Daniel and Charlie then took part in the training sessions, involving themselves in a small tournament between teams of the participants present at Thursday afternoon’s camp.

Our Elite Player Development Centres (EPDC) are a regional coaching initiative, offering opportunities in Suffolk, Essex Cambridgeshire and Norfolk.

Players for our EPDC are identified by club scouts and invited in to trial at their nearest location and if successful are invited to join the programme.
