The Club and the Foundation are pleased to announce that the foodbank collection from the home fixture with Plymouth Argyle saw 20 full crates of food collected.
The collection was organised in partnership with Ipswich Town Fans Supporting Foodbanks, which is an arm of the original Fans Supporting Foodbanks initiative that launched in 2015 when Liverpool and Everton followers came together to show solidarity with those experiencing poverty.
Fans Supporting Foodbanks is based on the idea that football fans can come together, even if they back different teams, to support the community against poverty.
The food collected in the FanZone ahead of the Plymouth game has now been delivered to Families in Need (FIND), who will organise for it to be distributed to those in difficult circumstances.

Details of the next foodbank collection ahead of a Town fixture at Portman Road will be announced in due course.
The Club, the Foundation and Ipswich Town Fans Supporting Foodbanks would like to thank the Blue Army for their generosity and playing their part in supporting our local community.
