Foundation launch first Girls EPDC based in Cambridgeshire

Ipswich Town Foundation is delighted to announce our first Girls Elite Player Development Centre based in Cambridgeshire for the remainder of the 2022/23 season and our first trial date.

The  Foundation is continuing to extend our provision across East Anglia, following a hugely successful 2021/22 season, where we saw over 400 girls taking part in our invitation only Development Centres located at five different venues. With our increased provision, we saw 34 players progress through our pathway.

2022/23 New Girls EPDC Centre – St Ives

U9/U10/U11/U12: 6-7pm 

U13/U14/U15/U16: 7-8pm

Our new centre provides players local to St Ives and surrounding areas to be part of the Ipswich Town Female Pathway. Successful trialists will be offered the chance to train weekly at the centre while also remaining part of their current grassroots club. EPDC players will also have an opportunity to be selected to take part in half-term fixtures against other professional clubs and make use of our girls only Development Camps. Our football development programme links in to and directly feeds our Ipswich Town Academy structure including our Emerging Talent Centre and U21s Women’s Super League Academy.

Please note: All players must be registered via the links above prior to the trial. Spaces are limited on a first come first served basis. If you are unable to make our initial trial date, please get in touch and we will look to provide a trial on an upcoming training night. Players successful after the initial trial will be invited to train in the Ipswich Town Female Player Pathway for the remainder of the 22/23 season starting in February at the same location and time as the trial.
