Donacien visits youth disabled football session

Janoi Donacien visited the Foundation’s youth disability training session at Portman Road on Saturday morning.

The Town defender took part in the session and spent time with members of the team, having individual chats.

At the end of the session, Janoi answered questions from the players, signed autographs and posed for photos.

“This was probably my favourite session that I’ve been to,” said Janoi.

“It was really eye-opening and you could see how much the children were enjoying themselves.

“The coaching was brilliant, getting every kid involved and it looked like it meant a lot to the parents.

“I just want to pass on my thanks to the parents and the children for being so welcoming and allowing me to get involved in the session.”

Earlier in the morning, the 29-year-old got involved in the Bluey’s Ballers and Town Tots sessions for young footballers between the age of three and six which provide a mix of coaching, fundamental movement games and mini matches.
