Post-16 student gets selected for All-Star squad

Caitlin Jackson, a student of our Post-16 Football & Education programme, has been selected for the National Football Youth League All-Stars squad.

The National Football Youth League is about putting the players first. It is aimed at talented players who have not gained scholarships at 16, have been released from clubs, late developers or players who just haven’t been noticed yet and need a professional, competitive environment which will allow them to continue to flourish.

Three more students travelled to Oxford City FC to train with the Women’s South squad but were not selected.

Caitlin will be involved in the first fixture on Wednesday, 30 November at St George’s Park and we wish her all the best.
