Wes Burns and Luke Woolfenden visit Monday night sessions at Portman Road

Ipswich Town players Wes Burns and Luke Woolfenden visited the Foundation’s Monday night sessions at Portman Road earlier this week. The pair went around the sessions spending time with each group.

Bluey’s Ballers, PDC Girls, Walking Football and Adult Disability sessions all take place on the practice pitch at Portman Road on a Monday evening giving both children and adults the opportunity to play football.

“I really enjoyed coming down here,” said Town winger, Wes Burns.

“You can see a smile on everyone’s face which is fantastic.

“Me and Wolfy got involved with the Walking Football session and it was a lot harder than it looked!”
