The Club has appointed Dan Palfrey as Director of Ipswich Town Foundation.
Dan, who started working at the Club in 2017, has most recently held the position of Public Relations Manager, while also being a Trustee for the Foundation since November 2021.
He will make the switch to his new role with immediate effect, working alongside Jason Curtis, Head of Community, to provide structure and strategic direction for the Foundation.
The position will also help strengthen the integral link between the Foundation and the Club, ensuring that visions and goals align with one another.
“We are delighted to appoint Dan in this role,” Mark Ashton told the Foundation website.
“The process involved a substantial amount of thought and, after conversations with the Foundation’s Trustees, we are pleased to have made this decision.
“The Foundation has grown tremendously in recent years, and it is vital that we continue to place it at the forefront of everything we do.
“Dan has worked incredibly hard for the Football Club and will continue to do so for the Foundation.”
“I am thrilled to move into this position,” Dan said.
“I have worked closely with the Foundation since its relaunch in 2019, and I look forward to helping with the continued growth of the Club’s charitable arm.”
