Tyreece John-Jules visited Castle Hill Primary School yesterday afternoon, surprising a group of young footballers at one of the Foundation’s holiday camps.
Ipswich Town Foundation deliver multiple sessions such as this in the eastern region during half-term breaks and school holidays, with aim to keep young people active and social while out of school. The session consists of various training activities alongside a mix of fun games and mini tournaments.
The Blues forward joined in the session, playing Football Bingo and getting involved in a mini match before signing various items for participants.
“I really enjoyed coming along, it’s good to see the young children kicking the ball around – that was me once.” said the Town forward.
“Literally everyone was in Ipswich kits so that is really good to see.
“It is such a big football club and all the smaller fans look up to us and want to see us do well.”
