The Foundation is joining the Club and the nation in celebrating Black History Month throughout October.
A number of activities will be taking place during this month to celebrate the contribution of black players, staff and supporters to Ipswich Town, and to the local community.
Next week, staff from the Ipswich Town Foundation will deliver an assembly at Claydon Primary School alongside a first-team player, promoting education and equality from an early age.
The Club will also be celebrating some of its black former players and their best moments in a Town shirt on the official website, social media channels and in the matchday programme.
Supporters can also look forward to interviews with ex-Blues and members of the current first-team setup during October, while there will also be a My Club, My Town feature interview conducted with a black fan.
The pre-match playlist for Town’s next home game, against Lincoln on Saturday, 15 October, will be compiled from music from black artists.
Fans can keep updated and get involved with the Club’s coverage and celebrations during October by using the hashtag #BlackHistoryMonth.
