Foundation staff members visited The Green Light Trust in Martlesham last week to donate 20 tickets for the Portsmouth fixture to participants of their Post 16 course.
The Green Light Trust Is a society where everyone has equitable access to the power of nature. They currently own three woodlands and over 60 community spaces are managed by their Wildspace group and have planted some 6 million trees so far.
“I just wanted to say a massive thank you to the Foundation on behalf of the Green Light Trust and all of the young people that had a truly amazing afternoon at Portman Road,” said Danny Thorrington, Delivery Manager at the Green Light Trust.
“What an atmosphere and for many it was the first time they had stepped inside a football stadium. One lad said he had never understood or felt adrenaline before but now he knew what it was and said it felt strange but brilliant.”
