Ipswich Town defender Janoi Donacien visited the Foundation’s PDC, Wildcats and Bluey’s Ballers sessions in Whitton yesterday evening.
Player Development Centres are weekly coaching sessions for children aged 6 to 12, whilst Wildcats sessions provide girls with regular opportunities to play football and Bluey’s Ballers is an introduction to football for 4 to 6 year olds.
JD joined in with multiple mini matches before answering questions from the group, presenting the children with some signed autograph sheets and posing for photos.
“It was great to be mixing in with the kids. They were running around and they were giving me the runaround as well,” Donacien told the Foundation website.
“It was good to see a few Ipswich shirts about, their parents are obviously supporting their local club which is great to see. I was passing them the ball a bit more than the other kids to be fair!”
