24 teams attend Portman 4’s festival

On Saturday, 3 September we welcomed 24 U7 teams to Portman Road to participate in the Foundation’s 2022 Portman 4’s festival.

Teams took part in two Round Robin events with each of them getting the opportunity to play six matches. The coaches selected two teams who showed enthusiasm and sportspersonship throughout the event to be rewarded with matchday tickets for Saturday’s match against Cambridge United.

At the midpoint of the festival, teams were surprised with a guest appearance from Bluey & Crazee. The Ipswich Town mascots spent time posing for photos and handing out lots of high fives! Both mascots have the Foundation logo on their shirts, and we thank them for their support this season.
