Kane Vincent-Young and Marcus Harness visit residential camp

Town players Kane Vincent-Young and Marcus Harness gave up their time to visit the Boys and Girls residential programme at Woodbridge School yesterday afternoon.

This residential camp is first of its kind, and it allowed participants of our Boys’ and Girls’ Development Programme to play football in addition to other activities such as Air Rifling, Quad-biking, Bush Craft and Archery.

The pair joined in with multiple mini matches, before answering a range of questions the children had. The duo then posed for photos and signed various items the group had brought in, before handing out some autograph sheets.

“It was really fun, I really enjoyed coming along and getting involved with the young players.” Marcus told the Foundation website.

“It is a big part of what we, as players, need to be doing – inspiring young players in the area and hopefully in a few years one of them will be playing in the first-team.”
