The Ipswich Town Foundation’s logo will feature on the back of Town’s home and away shirts for the 2022/23 season.
Having recently changed its name from Ipswich Town Community Trust, the Foundation is the charitable arm of the Football Club and was relaunched in September 2019.
In under three years, the number of Foundation staff has multiplied by 10 from three to 30, while they now engage with around 7,000 children and vulnerable adults each and every week.
With the Club’s continued focus on demonstrating the importance of giving back to the community, the Foundation’s logo will be the back of shirt ‘sponsor’ on Town’s home and away kits for the upcoming campaign.
It will feature below the name and number on the back of each replica shirt, raising further awareness for the Foundation and its vital work in Suffolk and the wider area.
The Foundation’s logo will also be donned by Town Women during the 2022/23 season.
Town CEO Mark Ashton said: “The Foundation and its work will continue to be at the forefront of everything we do at this football club.
“Putting the Foundation on the back of our shirts for the upcoming season will serve as a permanent reminder to our players, staff and supporters of the importance of the community the Club represents.”
Adding the logo to a replica shirt will cost supporters £3, with all profits going to the Ipswich Town Foundation.
