Our vision as Ipswich Town Foundation is to engage, inspire and develop as many people as possible. As part of this, we recognise that programmes fees, uniform cost and cost of games / trips can be prohibitively expensive for some families and as such, have been exploring ways we can help.
With huge thanks to support from London based company, Balfour Lewis, and in particular Director Aaron Balfour, we are absolutely thrilled to be launching a new Hardship Fund to support both new and existing participants cover the costs to participate at any level of our player pathways. Balfour Lewis’ initial donation sparked the opportunity to create the fund which will offer a maximum of £100.00 per participant towards any of the eligible expenses listed below.
Sarah Dooley, Fundraising and Events Officer, said “it was an absolute pleasure to speak with Aaron, and we really appreciate his and the companies support which will go a long way in supporting our local community. With the continued rise in the cost of living, we look forward to supporting those individuals and families most in need to access our programmes, helping them reach the Chief Medical Officers guidelines for physical activity per week.”
All applications will be considered by a panel, comprising 2 Community Trust staff and 1 Trustee.
