Town number 9, Joe Pigott, gave up his time to visit one of the Community Trust’s Easter camp sessions at Chantry Academy this afternoon.
This Easter camp is one of many that is run by the Club’s Community Trust, and aims to keep young people in the local area active while on their school holidays, as well as giving them the opportunity to make new friends and have fun.
Joe joined in with multiple mini matches, before answering a range of questions the children had, all while juggling a ball which was requested by one of the young participants! The Striker then posed for photos and signed various items the group had brought in, before handing out signed matchday programmes.
“It was great to get out in the community and take part in the session,” the 28-year-old told the Club website, reflecting on the visit.
“It’s vital that players reach out into the community, and we know how important it is to do so.
“It’s always great to see so many happy faces in Ipswich Town shirts!”
Ipswich Town Foundation offers multiple Open Access sessions, which are available on the Community Trust website. For further information, please click HERE.
