Bakinson visits Primary School

Tyreeq Bakinson paid a visit to St Mary’s Primary School in Woodbridge earlier this afternoon, surprising a group of keen young footballers and taking part in one of the Easter holiday camps provided by the Community Trust.

Ipswich Town Foundation deliver multiple sessions such as this in the eastern region during half-term breaks and school holidays, with aim to keep young people active and social while out of school. The session consists of various training activities alongside a mix of fun games and mini tournaments.

The Blues loanee joined in the session and signed various items for participants, as well as posing for selfies with the youngsters.

“It’s great to get out into the community, and I really look forward to taking part in sessions such as this” Tyreeq told the Club website following the visit.

“You can see how much the children enjoy these events, and it is so important for young people to have access to camps during school holidays. It’s great to see so many smiles on all of their faces”
