Community Trust working with Norfolk & Suffolk Foundation Trust

On Thursday 26th August, our Community Engagement Coordinator Leanne Smith welcomed Paul Hill from NSFT to Portman Road along with some support workers and young people currently engaging with the team.

The 2 hour long session included a stadium tour, Ipswich Town themed quiz and a game of football rounders where the participants managed to beat the staff before a few attempts on our inflatble penalty shoot out.

Participants offered some fantastic feedback at the end of the day including “it’s great to get out and meet some new people,” “I actually ran!” and some celebration of success on the penalty shoot out with “I scored 25 points.”

We are working to make the sessions a regular part of our delivery for 2021/22.
