Community Trust supports Felixstowe Walking Football Club

This morning we welcomed Jon Clements and Peter Toms from Felixstowe Beach Walkers, Walking Football Club to Portman Road. Jon got in touch with the club to see if we could support them with a couple of footballs to enable the group to continue training post COVID-19.
Ipswich Town Foundation Community Engagement Coordinator, Leanne Smith who presented the footballs along with a surprise of a few match tickets for Saturday’s game at home to MK Dons said “we are delighted to be able to support our local community wherever possible. We have our own walking football group based at Portman Road on Saturday mornings so this opens up the opportunity play some friendly games next season.”
