Girls Football Festival
Following the recent cancellation of girls football leagues due to coronavirus and the third lockdown, we would like to put on an event to support and encourage female participation in football and promote equal opportunities for girls to get involved in sport. For this year’s EFL Day of Action on Wednesday 14 April, we will be holding a Football Festival at Portman Road for girls in year 3 & 4. The festival will be a friendly, welcoming environment and will consist of fun mini-games such as penalty shoot outs, skill sessions and a tournament to finish. The day will be split into a morning (10am-12pm) and afternoon (1pm-3pm) session, of which we can host up to 8 schools per session. We are expecting this event to be very popular and places will be given on a first come first served basis, so if your school would like further information or to enter a team of 8 girls, please email harry.watts@itfc.co.uk
